Here's how this song came to be. I saw this interview about a year ago. Maybe it's the Asian American connection combined with the fact that at the time I was taking steps on my own spiritual path as well, but I was just super inspired. Later on, as Jeremy landed a spot on the Warriors, I had the notion to work on a song inspired by him. Interesting how God works. The Warriors track never got released cause I couldn't get it to a point where I was comfortable with the overall direction of the song. and next thing you know J gets released from the team. As he continues on his path to Houston and then ultimately the Knicks, I think it's safe to say that countless amount of us are continuously inspired and uplifted by what God is doing in this brother's life. His story and I'm sure many of ours can attest that like the song says, "HE always come thru in the nick of time."

As serial killers, Chris Palko (Cage) and Scott Mescudi (KiD CuDi) do a pretty good job in front of the camera. Sick. I just caught this on the Bloody Disgusting Selects YouTube account and I'm amazed at the artwork these three put out. Currently, Cage and KiD Cudi are on tour together and LeBeouf plans to star as Cage in an autobiographical film shot by him.

Five Bonifacio Days ago, I dropped The Bacolod City Bandit Mixtape and sold 300+ copies at P12o per piece. I gave discounts to a couple of the buyers but you get the estimate of how much I made in less than a month tax free. I hustled each and every CD hand to hand and that's just the way it had to be. At the time, I knew of nobody else in The City Of Smiles doing the same thing I was doing. Nobody. I later took this money and booked me a flight to Manilla leaving my son and my girl behind to try to get my music heard. I wasn't with 6000 GOONZ or Turbulence Productions yet. My main focus was to personally meet DiCE and B-Roc. I always thought that my style would fit over any of their beats. That was half a decade ago. And until this very day, I'm still building.

Picture me running back and forth from keyboard to microphone recording myself with a Shure SM58 Microphone, old stocking pop filter and Cool Edit Pro 2.0 over downloaded instrumentals from Limewire. True story. None of the songs are even close to mixed or mastered so don't even trip. It's all raw, ruff and rugged. I think that my real heads should have this in their collection.
